The second Redway Runners overseas club trip of 2017 will be to the Lanzarote for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K on Saturday 9 December 2017.
Lanzarote, one of the Canary islands off the coast of West Africa administered by Spain, is known for its year-round warm weather, beaches and volcanic landscape.
Flights
Some of us are booked onto flights leaving on the Thursday 7 December returning on the following Thursday 14 December from Luton. Thompson fly from Luton and Easyjet should have weekend and other flight options.
Accommodation
A few of us are staying in the Finish area location of Costa Teguise.
Costa Teguise is located on the eastern side of Lanzarote, close to the capital and only 10 to 15 minutes by car from the airport. It offers all types of accommodations and activities. Costa Teguise is one of the most attractive tourist areas on Lanzarote thanks to its array of lodgings, beaches, services and the tranquillity one breathes around it. This is definitely one of the preferred destinations for families visiting the island.
