So what is it all about, well these are the details…

Who

This is for any members who want to get quicker with their 5K time. It is for people who can run 5K, and wants to put in the effort to improve your time

You must be a member of Redway Runners and the first week of bookings is only open to those who have not booked a previous course.

You should not be training for other events at the same time as this course to get most from it

What

A 10 week course and we are this time offering two courses (you only need to book one place):

  • Saturdays at 10am starting the 9 September 2023, led by Luke C and Carlos M
  • Tuesdays at 10am starting 12 September 2023, Led by Terri J and Annabel C

 Where

Meeting at various locations around Milton Keynes each week, details of the first weeks location are in the confirmation of booking mail.

When

Each session will be at the same time each week, 10am Saturday or Tuesday mornings and each session will be about an hour.

Goal

Milton Keynes 5K parkrun on Saturday 11th November 2023 will be the ‘Morning of the PB’s’. So save the date.

What will I need?

You will need to be able to make each weekly session, a desire to improve, these will not be social runs.

It helps us leading, if runners can wear club green tops for each session.

For Winter evening courses, if running at in the dark, early morning or evening, wear florescent / light clothing and will need a head torch.

How Do I book

To book, log on to your Redway Runner Love Admin profile, click here select ‘Events’ then ‘Need For Speed September 2023’.

If after booking you find you cannot make it please cancel your place as this will free it up for someone else to book, just mail us at rr@redwayrunners.com and we can cancel.

Note, for week one for the Saturday course, will be Milton Keynes parkrun at 9am to get your current 5k time then we will meet at 10am and discuss the course in further detail. For the Tuesday course please let Terri know your most recent 5K time.
