We are going to hold our second Redway Runners TRI-@-RUN on Saturday 13 August 2022
Just like a Triathlon has three parts to it for ours it will be three separate runs over the course of the day.
Discipline 1 – 5K
Complete a 5K parkrun at 9am, make sure you are recorded on the results as you will submit your parkrun time to us (not the time on your watch). This needs to be sent to us by 1pm
You can take part in any parkrun, but need to be back in time for the next event. Remember parkrun is not an event organised by us.
With your booking confirmation mail you will get a link to enter the details on the TRI-@-RUN day
Discipline 2 – 1 mile
At 12.00/noon You will run a 1 mile which we will time (gun to chip).
Number collection will be between 11.30 and 11.45, at 11.45 we will move to the start line for a 12.00 start
Meeting point will be at Station Road Car Park, Newport Pagnell
Mile route is a Strava segment – you can view at:
https://www.strava.com/segments/27204951
Remember to keep your number as you will need this for discipline 3
Discipline 3 – 4.4 miles
From 3.00 we will hold the Redway Runners 4.4 mile handicap run, we will work out your start time from the times taken in the first two events, with the aim of all runners finishing at the same time!
The start for this event is opposite the barriers to David Lloyd in Newlands Drive
You will need to bring your number with you from run 2 and wear it on the front of your top
A board at the start area will show your start time which you need to stick to
The route will be self navigated so make sure you are familiar with the route
