Old Money Run

Returning this year with a new location in Tear Drop Lake off Knowlhill, The Old Money Run is a fantastic event perfect for runners moving from 5k to 10k or 10k to a half, or for those preparing for longer distances. The event is exclusive to members of Redway Runners. This will be the 7th year of the event
The new location gives us plenty more scope for free parking with a slighly altered route around Tear Drop and Furzton Lakes. The timing of the event is perfect as a last long run before the Milton Keynes Winter Half, an event hosted by our friends at BCS events.

Junior members are welcome to enter the 5 mile event

Route

The route starts at Knowlhill cricket green and follows the path along Tear Drop Lake and around Furzton lake before returning along Teardrops Lake. The route is 5 miles, and if you enter for the 10 mile option you will complete the circuit twice.

Cut off – no cut off, but marshals will be withdrawn after 3 hours.

Award

All finishers will receive the Old Money Run Medal.

There will be small prizes for the first three male and female places in each event.

Useful info

Please allow plenty of time to collect your event pack on the day. The run will begin at 10.00. Entries are limited to 100 runners per distance.

No parking is permitted in the public car park on this day but free street parking is available in Davy Avenue.

Please note this year toilets are not available.
