Redway Runners started on the 1 January 2011 and since that time we have won or been recognised for several awards, including the highest honour that can go to a Voluntary orgnisation with us being granted the ‘King’s Award for Voluntary Service’ in 2024.
We achieved these awards through the support of everyone who volunteers for us for free and runs with us, thank you

Fuengirola Half Marathon and 5K
Largest Running Club
On Friday, 14 November we picked up for Redway Runners the award for being the largest club at the Fuengirola 5K and Half Marathon with 61 Redway Runners finishing on Sunday 9 November 2025.
Julio Rodriguez, from the Council for Sports of Fuengirola presented us with the trophy.
Well done to all that ran and earnt us the award – pretty amazing for a club from Milton Keynes to win this award at a major running race in Spain.

Dennis Orme Trophy
Redway Runners win Cross Country Trophy
This trophy is awarded to the club who have the largest percentage increase in participants from the previous season in the Chiltern League Cross Country. Also finishing second in Division 2.

King’s Award for Voluntary Service
Redway Runners Granted King’s Award for Voluntary Service
Redway Runners have been honoured with the ‘King’s Award for Voluntary Service’ by HM the King on his 76th birthday, 14 November 2024, more click here
This is the highest award that can be given to Voluntary Organisations, it is the MBE for Volunteer Groups and is part of the UK honours system, it is something the club retains permanently.

Redway Runners win the diploma for the largest club at the Benalmadena races, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K on Sunday 24 November 2024 for the club overseas trip.
