** Special Club Runs

We have a full timetable of runs – but a few specials or changes – details below:

Saturday 20 December – Santa Saunter

Sunday 21 December – Run with the Animals

A Redway Runners tradition to run with the animals at Woburn, Starting at 9.00am. Wear Christmas outfits for the run, bring your camera. Old running shoes or trail shoes suggested.

* Social club run – This will be about a 6 mile route (more with loop backs) and will take about 75 to 90 minutes as stops to take photos and enjoy the animals and nature. Led by Martin

* Step up run – This will be about a 5.2 mile route (more with loop backs) and will take about 90 to 115 minutes as stops to take photos and enjoy the animals and nature. Led by Annette

 

Monday 22 December – Special medal run

Combined Christmas Step Up and Social run at 9.30am from Waitrose at Oakgrove. Alongside the normal runs there will be an opportunity to collect a special 10K Christmas Medal for a donation of £5 with profits to the club Charity of the Year.

 

Wednesday 24 December – Christmas Eve Special

Special Joint Step and Social run at 9.30am led by Martin and John this be a 35 minute loop back run, then the option to continue to a little over 60 minutes from Wilson Street Food, 41 Alston Dr, Bradwell Abbey MK13 9HB

Expect a few Christmas Party Games en-route. Christmas outfits more than welcome. Wilson Street Food have a special offer for bacon/sausage roll and a hot drinkfor £5.

 

Friday 26 December – Boxing Day Special

The traditional Boxing Day off road and the Friday morning social run – starting at 9.30am led by Martin

Off road 5 mile trail run to blow away the cobwebs, sutable for all, from Newport Pagnell, the Lathbury Loop at 9.30am from; Newport Pagnell Library, St John St, Newport Pagnell MK16 8HQ

Wednesday 31 December – New Years Eve Special details to be revealed

Wednesday, New Years Eve, 31 December 2025 at 9.30am for ‘XXXX – Redway Runners Special Event run’.

We will be playing your favourite game – but far to early to reveal details

It will all start from Wilson Street Food at Wilson Street Food, 41 Alston Dr, Bradwell Abbey MK13 9HB https://what3words.com/canoe.moon.subplot

Wilson Street Food have a special offer for bacon/sausage roll and a hot drinkfor £5.

You will work on small teams of four of five runners / ramblers to see which team can win you will get up to 75 minutes to complete the challenge. Like last year’s special event that attracted lots along, you can either create your own team or we will sort it on the day.

Suitable for all including the Social club run, Step up run and Ramble.

This is on Saturday 20 December at Willen Lake at 10am, you run, walk or saunter the 1 mile route, with our own green Santa and the special event medal and much more
