We are pleased to announce that Daytona 5000 is back, and not just that it is bigger, better and longer as you can see from our video.

It will be on Saturday the 21 November 2020, this time we are intending the event to be open to all once the race licence is issued, but until then, early entry is only available to Redway Runners members and at a reduced entry price, so get in quick.

The event still has medals and free hot drink, see web site for all the details

This time we are adding more opportunities to the starting grid, some events have very limited numbers as we test the format this with:

Daytona 5000, this is the original event with 5 laps of the track a little over 5K, you will pick your start time when entering and this event starts from 7:50am
Early entry for Redway Runners members at £18, so get in quick before the price rises

Daytona Sprint, this is one lap, your chance, before running the Daytona 5000, to see if you can set a lap record running one complete lap, staggered starts from 7.30am
Early entry for Redway Runners members at £22,  – this prices include the Sprint AND the Daytona 5000
Sorry you cannot enter only the Daytona Sprint

Daytona 2, for this event you will see how many complete laps you can complete in 2 hours of running, staggered starts from 7.40am
Early entry for Redway Runners members at £20

Daytona Frun (fun run), finally to end the morning of events, this is for the youngsters to do a lap of the track, staggered starts from 10.00am, this is only for youngsters of Redway Runners members, you need to enter for each youngster who gets a medal and if running with your youngsters please ensure you a following government rules, ie bubbles, the youngster gets a medal – entry to this event is free

The event will be again held following advice and we will again take all the measures on social distancing
