Runners looked resplendent in the union jack bunting as we covered the route.
We started from Sherington then headed out to Fences Farm where Kevin told us about the horse traps and then the horse racing fences (group photos)
Next it was on to the farm for a look at the horses and the museum tack room, meeting the trainer Stuart Edmunds, next we stopped at the field to view some of the racing horses.
Next along we came to the Rothschild family graves of Renée Louise Marie de Rothschild, double Olympic medal winning Peter Robeson OBE and Scout the dog, we also spoke about the Royal connection on this Jubilee weekend.
Finally we stopped at the cushion track for the gallops.
We retired to the White Hart pub for post run analysis and running/racing tips at their Sausage and Beer festival
Hope everyone had a great morning and enjoyed it.
