There has been no stopping Simon and Alice since starting the Redway Runners beginners groups.
They met on one of our early beginners course and used to message about running then private messaging each other, they both got on well together and they became more than running mates.
Then, just before the finish line of yesterday’s half marathon in the MK Marathon weekend, Simon dropped to one knee and proposed
Pleased to confirm, once Alice had stopped her Garmin that she said yes (Alice is a true runner!)
Congratulations from all at Redway Runners to them both
We have more beginners starting this weekend, every beginner starts a journey.
Been inspired, then we have beginners starting Saturday, never know what you’re running journey will be, hopefully we will get you to running a 5K parkrun, after that…..
