Well done to all that ran in the MK Winter Half Marathon on Sunday 12 December
With the staggered starts meant that getting a group photo was not easty but these hopefully capture most taking part
Results show a fantastic 204 Redway Runners finished from 1,471 finishers

Tina’s Story
Great effort from all the Winter Half Marathon but sometime a story grabs your attention and today it t is Tina who completed her 100th Half Marathon in her home town in her 50th year.
Tina completed her first half in December 2009 in Bedford and she said ‘it was freezing & I was a complete novice!! Today was great apart from I was hungover again but Sarah, Jen & Zoe looked after me & got me round in one piece!‘
Yes, I can confirm that Tina was at fellow Redway Runners party last night, know she celebrated with cake at the finish
Tina added ‘Well what can I say, today’s 100 half marathon was fab, even if I did belch all the way round after 2 nights in the wine & Prosecco! I have the most amazing friends, Sarah & Jen along with Zoe got me round, we sang, played eye spy & drank mulled wine at mile 12 & getting my celebration sash at mile 12! The end was fab running in together holding hands & seeing family & friends at the finish & celebrate with cakes & Buck’s Fizz & my 100 half marathon medal along with balloons & Prosecco from Sarah.
Post-race wine in the pub & celebrations later at Cross Keys.
I was asked what was my favourite half, there’s been many but I have to say that every one I’ve run with friends are at the top of the list’
Well done Tina a fantastic actievement in a century of halves – to the next 100

Sam’s mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2020, Sam and Wendy wanted to do something that could help fight back against this horrible disease, over 2021 they have completed 10 marathons running, and 2 double marathons on bikes.
