We are sorry that some of you were unable to join us at Willen Lake for the MK24 but maybe next year.
A massive thank you to everyone who did join us and make it a fantastic event. We are so pleased that we were able to put it on following the unprecedented rainfall that we had on the Friday which made setting up very challenging. We are so sorry that we had to alter the course at the last minute, but when the River Ouzel burst its bank and part of the course became flooded, we had no choice.
We met so many lovely people from around the country and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you all back in 2022. The date has yet to be confirmed as it’s reliant on whether the camp site is available but will be either 18th & 19th or 25th & 26th June 2022, so look out for a confirmation email or keep an eye on the website www.mk24run.com.
The provisional results are now available at https://www.redwayrunners.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/MK24-2021_v1.xlsx thanks to poor Dom who has now caught up with some sleep having been up for 36 hours.
To understand your lap times the start and finish time is the amount of time after the 2pm start i.e. 04:11:05 is 6:11pm on Saturday and the total time is shown as AM but 12 is in fact 00 i.e. 12:57:11AM is a lap time of 57:11. Hope that makes sense.
Result queries or anomalies can be referred to mk24timing@gmail.com

We have received so many wonderful comments via social media and emails with valuable feedback, and have learnt a few lessons for next year including the re-routing around the very busy waterfront area which we know at times was a challenge, but don’t worry we’re on the case, along with so many wonderful suggestions and ideas received.
If you are interested in purchasing some of the MK24 merchandise, it is still available at https://www.t-shirts2u.co.uk/RRstore-mk24.html
Lastly, it has come to our notice that the ANPR car park where you pay on exit, was rejecting card payments due to a hitch, but please do not panic. We’ve been in contact with the car park operator and the manager of Willen Lake, who are aware of the situation and assured us that no fixed penalty notices will be issued nor the requirement for the parking fee to be paid. If anyone has an issue, they can email R.Wood@willenlake.org.uk
That’s all for now. See you in 2022
