Redway Runners member Fiona Copeland attended the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla on Saturday at Westminster Abbey.
Fiona told us ‘I was invited to the coronation at the weekend as I was awarded an British Empire Medal in 2021.
I received it for raising awareness of a rare disease called Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia http://www.Pcd support.org.uk which primary affects the lungs (our two sons have the condition).
The day was absolutely amazing and such a privilege to be part of such a historic occasion. It was even more special to have the love and support of my Redway Runners friends – Anne Bonson very kindly lent me her beautiful hat and many people messaged me on the day and were following the TV intently to spot me.’
Wow what an honour and memories to have – well done – need to have a word with Anne who could have lent you a green hat or green club beanie!! (only joking)
