We Ran to Remember

Last Sunday afternoon (24 October 2021) we held a ‘Run To Remember; at the Redway Runners memorial bench, Newlands, Remembrance Walk.
The bench is a place to remember, reflect and celebrate runners who are no longer able to run amongst us.
The bench is well paced for Redway Runners near the original home of the club in David Lloyd, a place where many races and club runs pass through and at the start of the Milton Keynes parkrun.
The event started, with an introduction from Martin, then Redway Runners member and pastor Richard Wardman held a service including a reading from Steve Rose.
After the service many took part in a run or walk along all or part of the parkrun route and many stopped for a drink at Willen Lake
