We held this years Redway Runners Santa Saunter on Saturday 20 December 2025 from Willen Event lawn, with 189 runners entered to take part this year.
We were joined the Paul Trendall, the Deputy Mayor of Milton Keynes, plus Leo the Lion from our club Charity of the Year, Milton Keynes Charity Hospital and our own Green Santa
Everyone that took part received this years special medal, selection box, cake and mulled wine, so well worth the exploits. Congratulation to our winners of the best outfits, with prizes presented by the Deputy Mayor.
We got a nice mention from the Deputy Mayor of MK who said on his social media ‘Redway Runners Santa Saunter – Around 200 Santa-themed runners and walkers, including assorted elves, a couple of gingerbread men and at least one Christmas tree took part in the ninth annual Santa Saunter at Willen Lake. It was perfect weather for the event, which is to say it wasn’t raining, and people flocked to see one of the best attended charity events in the city, with donations going to this year’s charity, MK Hospital Charity. Thank you to the army of volunteers needed to make an event like this happen and especially to Martin Lawrence for organising it.’
The event is only possible thanks to all the work of the team of volunteers who help to make the event a fabulous success – thanks to all of them.
We also had a cake sale and we drew the club Christmas raffle, click here to see winners. Over the next few days we will be able to confirm the amount raised for the clubs charity
