As Christmas fast approaches we have everything organised. (well pretty much)

** Special Club Runs
We have a full timetable of runs – but a few specials or changes – details below:
Wednesday 13 December – Christmas Tree run
The Wednesday morning Discovery run at 9:30am will be from Stoke Goldington and will head out to view the Cristmas trees
Monday 18 December – Monday night Christmas lights run
All the Monday night 6pm runs will meet for this week in Newport Pagnell and each run will visit the Christmas lights, remember to bring some coins for the donation boxes

Thursday 21 December – Joint Social and Step Up run
A joint run followed by tea and coffee afterwards in the Change Watersports Lakeside Cafe at Willen Lake. All speeds are welcome for a 9.30am meet at Willen Observation Wheel for an initial three miles with an option for a further two miles following (tail runner and loop backs will mean no one gets left behind) … let’s join together for a Christmas gathering!!
Sunday 24 December – Run with the Animals
A Redway Runners tradition to run with the animals at Woburn, Starting at 9.00am. Wear Christmas outfits for the run, bring your camera. Old running shoes or trail shoes suggested.
* Social club run – This will be about a 6 mile route (more with loop backs) and will take about 75 to 90 minutes as stops to take photos and enjoy the animals and nature.
* Step up run – This will be about a 5.2 mile route (more with loop backs) and will take about 90 to 115 minutes as stops to take photos and enjoy the animals and nature.
Tuesday 26 December – Boxing Day Special
This Boxing Day traditional special will be a run to blow away those cobwebs a 7 to 8 mile off road route, seeing some of the great features on our back doorstep, still at 9.30am, suitable for all that can run the distance

Thursday 28 December – Ramble
Ramble at 2.30 from the Harvester at Eastlake Park, MK15 0SB, chance for a couple of mile walk followed by a drink
Friday 29 December – Review of the Year run
We do have a special event ‘Review of the Year’ run on Friday 31 December morning at 9.30am from Hayley’s Comet, if you want to share your running story of 2023 let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org
Sunday 31 December – New Years Eve Hunt
Starting at 9am replacing the club normal runs and ramble, we have the New Years Eve Hunt, you will work in small groups going on the hunt, but be careful our hunters will be looking for you, some hunters are good, but not all!
We are still developing plans but expect 75 minutes of time to run, walk and hunt.
Park and meet at New Bradwell Sports Association at Bradwell Rd, Bradville, MK13 7AD (What3Words https://what3words.com/bolsters.emails.steroids) the overflow car park is for our use on the morning, please do not use the main car park in front of the building, some street parking is available.

Suitable for all including the Social club run, Step up run and Ramble.

** Santa Saunter
This is on Saturday 23 December at Willen Lake at 10am, you run, walk or saunter the 1 mile route, with our own green Santa and the special event medal and much more

** Club Christmas party
Redway Runners Christmas party with disco is on Friday 15 December 2023, from 7.30pm to midnight, bar closes 11.30pm at Newport Pagnell Workmen’s Club (NPWMC) 28 Silver Street, Newport Pagnell MK16 0EN
Tickets are limited and are just £5, over 18s only.

** Christmas Day parkrun
Milton Keynes Christmas day parkrun is on as well as New Years day

New for this year we are holding an Advent Calendar Raffle during November with all the profits going the the Redway Runners Charity of the Year which is ‘The Thames Valley Air Ambulance’.

Last date to order standard club kit is 24 November as need to post by 15 December to ensure delivery. However, embroidered items last date 17 November 2023.

** Redway Runners Christmas Tree
Christmas is coming and Redway Runners are having a Christmas Tree at Midsummer Place from Saturday 18 November until the New Year.
We are decorating the tree, so if anyone would like to make a decoration please feel free to message Debbie D (or mail firstname.lastname@example.org and we will forward) to arrange collection by 10 November. We also need some runners’ quotes saying why you love Redway Runners. We will then display some of them on the tree.
If our tree is judged as one of the best decorated, we will win money for our club charity of the year, The Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
We would love to see pics of you with the tree when you’re out running or shopping.
