Food Bank Run – can we collect 600 items?

As in previous years Redway Runners will for the third year be joining the Food Bank run and will support MK Food Bank in helping our community .

MK Food Bank has asked us to share this message
“In 2024, MK Food Bank successfully delivered over 35,000 food parcels, helping families in need across the community. This achievement highlights the ongoing support and generosity of local residents, volunteers, and supporters who have come together to ensure that vulnerable individuals and families have access to essential food supplies.
Again, thank you so much for supporting our Charity, we really couldn’t do what we do without your help and raising awareness!!
Our aim this year is to donate 600 items from the list of food items that are currently in most need (see poster).
Our event will run from Sunday 2 February to Sunday 2 March and we need your kind support to achieve our target.
Please help us and the people of Milton Keynes who need the most help by donating food items they most need.
Please bring items
- to ANY run or ramble and leave with the Run Lead
- Deliver to 23 Thomas Drive, Newport Pagnell MK16 8TD (mail first to rr@redwayrunners.com) or 3 Egerton Gate, Shenley Brook End MK5 7HH, (leave in front of the garage).
See below for the full list of items that are most needed are – these include tinned meat, veg, pulses and remember food needs to have a reasonable use by date
We will be delivering our 600 food items during March – date to be confirmed and we would love to get a big green photo.
