We are able to confirm the club membership fees for next year and we are pleased to confirm that the membership fee for the club will remain at the same fee that it has been since the club started in January 2011, so just £5. – great value

However, we have been advised by England Athletics that the club and member body affiliation fee increase to £200 from £150, whilst the athlete registration fee will increase to £19 from £17, effective from 1 April 2024.

We are a bit disappointed as a grass roots club with the increases, especially as the number of places that clubs now get via England Athletics for London Marathon is being reduced (we expect to get two places instead of previous years four) plus an  increase of 33% in clubs fee and well over 10% in members fees is significant.

So your fees for the next club year, if you renew, which will be from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025:

• 2024/2025 Standard membership Redway Runners = £5.00
• 2024/2025 Standard membership with First Claim membership England Athletics Redway Runners = £24.50
• 2024/2025 Standard membership with second claim membership England Athletics Redway Runners = £5.00
• Add EA membership to an existing membership = £19.50

You need to no action at this time, if you wish to remove England Athletics from your membership for next year let us know in March, before renewal requests are sent in Mid March 2024.

For anyone that joins Redway Runners after mid-December 2023 will get membership to 31 March 2025.
