Wow what a weekend for MK24 at the new location at Caldecotte Experience which everyone seemed to say was a fab new location, route and set up.

The running started at 12 on Saturday 22 June and the runners had 24 hours to 12 on Sunday 23 June 2024 to run as many laps of the route they wanted. The event was a sell out with all 300 places snapped up and we had 282 people running in the event.

The trophies went to:

• Fastest lap was set by Ricky Robinson in 40 minutes and 46 seconds
• Most female laps Agnieszka Donkin with 14 laps
• Most male laps from Alan Hall and Vince Savior with 13 laps, Alan gets the trophy as recorded this with the quickest running time with 21 hours 30 minutes and 8 seconds, Vince was an amazing 22 hours 19 minutes and 27 seconds.
• Most Inspirational runner trophy went to Aime Deguanch-Lambert
• Team award went to Night Terrors with over 20 laps between them

All the profit from the event will go to the club charity of the year which is Action4Youth, we will announce the amount once all the final bills have been paid.

Steve Scott (Event Director) said “What a magnificent weekend that was I’m both exhausted and exhilarated. I’m thrilled that everyone had a fantastic time. We had so many kind comments about the new course, location and facilities. I am so pleased we managed to build a good relationship with Action4youth who provided the facilities at the Caldecott Xperience which we hope to use next year. A massive thanks to my whole team who worked very hard leading up to and throughout the whole weekend and for all their support. All we need to do now is to start planning for 2025. Remember you need to book early to avoid disappointment as so many did this year.”

Again a massive thank you to ALL the fantastic volunteers who helped us over the weekend. Whether you helped with set up, marshaling, registration, first aid, timing, take down or in so many other ways, you were so MUCH appreciated!! Also, to all the generous bakers, you were awesome!

Just wanted to drop a note to say a big thank you for the weekend.  I was in a party of three and we had a mega time at the event.  We managed 3 laps over the 24 hours and loved it. Everyone was so friendly and gave encouragement when needed on the way round. The cake and drink tent was my favourite! Thank you again for a nice weekend and I will definitely be returning next year for it.
