In a secret bunker somewhere in Milton Keynes most of the course leads for the Redway Runners September 2022 courses gathered recently to plan our upcoming courses
We thought we might give you a taster of our plans that we are putting together and finalising and will have more information soon
All these courses will be FREE for Redway Runners members BUT you will need to commit to attending from the start and each week as places will be limited. (Not a member! Then you can join for just £5 for the year to 31 March 2022)
The initial information is all these courses will start in September 2022 and we will have five different types of course and looking like ten courses, across different days and times – but all the details will be released soon
So have a think about which course, if any, might suit you, you will only be able to book one course and bookings will be first come basis.

** Beginners Courses
These courses are for new runners or those returning to running after a break that means you are starting your running from scratch; over the 9 weeks you will work to running the Milton Keynes 5K parkrun in November 2022.
You will book for one of the courses then the homework runs you can do in the other courses or in your own time.
** Improve Your Running Course
This course is for those who have maybe completed beginners before and can run for about 20 minutes (at any pace before the course starts) but run a 5K over 30 minutes or perhaps have lost your running mojo and who would like to improve their running. It will follow a similar style to the beginner’s course building up each week, it will start with longer intervals from the outset than beginners courses. There will be an introduction to some speed work, but this is not the focus of the course. As part of the course there will be homework sessions as well.
** Need For Speed Course
Yes, our Need For Speed Course is coming back.
This is for any members who wants to get quicker with their 5K time. It is for runners who can run 5K and wants to put in the effort to improve your time.
** Move On Up to 10K Course
The next ‘Move On Up to…’ Course will be for those who have completed a 5K and not yet worked up to running a 10K and want to work in a group to this next milestone event.
For this group we will work to a late November 10K, which is likely to be the MoRun in Milton Keynes
** Strength and Agility Course
This will be a NEW course for the club, but unlike the other course we offer, you will not need to book and this will be for 6 weeks on the Track on Wednesday nights, to get the best from this you should do each week, but attending the weeks you can will be fine.

September is looking to be an exciting time, we are looking forward to our Autumn courses, if you are willing to make the effort then sign up when the time comes
