Mike is a great guy and a great run lead. I don’t know Mike very well but I have been to a few of his runs. Mike reached out to me when I was struggling with my mental health a few months ago and I was in a bad place, a lovely guy 💚

Nikki is a great run lead, she is very friendly, encouraging and very supportive. I first met Nikki 10 years ago, it was my second run with RR. I was feeling quite nervous, I was worried I would get left behind, I found Nikki to be very welcoming and very supportive, we have been good friends since we met 10 years ago 💚

I don’t know Mike as I suspect he would be way too fast for me but thanks Mike for all you do for the club. The first time i met Nikki she was pushing little Noah in a buggy on a step up run. I thought how awesome as I could barely get myself round 5k let alone a toddler! No wonder she went on to be a multi marathon runner x

Absolutely love Nikki, she’s totally amazing! I have no idea how she can just keep running and do so many marathons but she is inspirational. She’s so inclusive and friendly, welcomes and chats to everyone especially newbies. Also a tad nuts 😍❤️xx

Nikki Norman was one of the first RR I met on a club run, I turned up to Terri’s Tuesday intervals over a year ago now and she said hello to me (she recognised me from Andy’s FB as his girlfriend) and we became friends that day.

I actually live in Sheffield so only can manage to make it down for the odd runs with the groups and Nikki always makes me feel welcomed and like I’ve been coming for years.

Great leader skills and just an all round lovely lady 💚

I regularly run with Nikki and she is one in a million. Such a lovely, friendly, caring positive person. One of the funniest people on the planet which makes running with her so enjoyable 😊 She is always chatty and an awesome runner herself and I am thankful that she volunteers her time for the club

Mike too is a lovely run lead and person. He is always mindful that nobody gets left behind and his love of running is evident. I always find him friendly and encouraging

Mike is a regular on Friday Socials and is a great guy very friendly and approachable, he recently stepped up to leading on Sundays when the call went out for new Sunday run leads. He has transitioned so well to run leading and I am in awe of anyone who leads the Sunday run as it is such a large group. Well Done Mike! Nikki and I always competing for distance in the Gamin challenges so we often exchange banter about that. She beat me this month! 😮😮😮

Nikki Norman is a great run lead, and an all round fab person! She is always very encouraging to everyone on runs, whether she’s leading or not, and she is an inspiration to me and many others. I don’t know how she does all that she does, but she doesn’t seem to stop running! 💚

I haven’t done a run led by Mike Maguire as he’s a speedy runner, but I’ve known him quite a few years as our children go to school together, he’s a lovely man so I expect he is a great run lead too!

What can I say about the legend that is Nikki Norman?

She is quite simply awesome 👌🏻 I have watched Nikki flourish in her running journey over the last 6 years or so. She never gives up, always works hard and continually pushes herself out of her comfort zone.

As a run lead Nikki is kind, funny, caring and genuinely enjoys what she does. I’ve never seen her give less than 100%.

I’ve known Nikki Norman for over 10years now. We used to run together on a Tuesday and Wednesday sometimes doing a bit extra before a club run. She’s a lovely person and very encouraging and also great to chat with.

I have ran with Mike on a Sunday and he’s a great run lead. He does a great job of keeping us all together and tells us about the route we will be doing too. .
