WHAT YOU SAID

Tara Needham

Annette is a great run lead, she is very welcoming, friendly and welcoming. I first met Annette 10 years ago on the Wednesday social run. Annette also does a lot for the club.

I don’t know Colin very well, I have seen him a few times at the Sunday social run, he is very friendly

Magzilla Chichuck

Annette was my introduction to running as she led the beginners group in September 2021. Still 🏃🏼‍♀️- thanks to Annette getting us to the graduation finish line 💚💚💚

Lisa Cameron

Annette is a fabulous run lead caters to all abilities absolutely loved taking part in her discovery run and hope to do more soon

Andy Soper

Both legends

Sarah Evans

Annette was my very first beginners run lead in 2018. She is fantastic, really supportive and a great laugh despite the multiple hills and dodgy timings (I’m convinced her 2 minute runs are more like 5)! Thanks for all you do Annette 🙏

Daria Croker

Just the very best.

Ian Eygelsheim

Annette Smyth is simply awesome 👏

Simon Richards

Annette was my beginners lead. Since then I’ve done 4 marathons and 1 ultra tied to her. She’s a great guide when she remembers and a brilliant run lead as she always plans routes that finish at a coffee shop!!

Sarah Hill

Love Annette – just the best. Been on one of Sunday runs lead by Colin and very good thank you both

Marine Turner

Colin is a natural run leader 👍

Often run with him on Sunday morning social club run, he is very approachable & friendly.

I may have slightly borrow his genius mini flag tail idea but he knows that already, such a genius idea 💚 all credit goes to him for the tail runner mini flag

Mike Maguire

I’ve run with Colin, he did a great job and even brought a nice tail runner flag.

Eillien Gallagher

Annette is a great run lead and such a lovely person. She’s so supportive, inclusive and encouraging of everyone 💚 xx

Laura Jane Everitt

Annette Smyth is a fantastic run lead and a wonderful person xxx

Lottey Gates

Annette is amazing. If you don’t mind running up hills, through nettles, mud, puddles etc, climbing over styles, and getting lost occasionally then you will definitely enjoy her runs! She is my favourite run lead and never minds me messing around at the back of her runs ❤️

Kirsty Berryman

Annette Smyth is not only an amazing running coach (got me running twice) but she is bloody brilliant too (helped me through my exams). Just an overall Gem 💎 x

Karen Cobbett

I still remember running step up run (one of my first), when I did the Beginners the first time round. Annette was the Run Lead. Campbell Park was my first real experience running up, round, down slopes. Anette was awesome, boundless energy, passion and enthusiasm (with a wicked laugh and sense of humour). One of the finest!! 💚

Ana Falcao Antunes Billenness

Annette Smyth is a great run lead and does lots for the club. She is encouraging and inclusive 💚

Chris Moy

Annette once sported a quite spectacular (all be it drawn on) moustache……👍🏻

Kathy Kavanagh

I don’t know Colin but I’m sure those who do appreciate all he does. What can I say about Annette… she is dedicated, great fun, amazingly supportive and a very much loved member of Redway Runners x

Nikki Norman

Annette is one of the loveliest people. She’s an awesome run lead, so supportive and encouraging. I know she does so much behind the scenes for Beginner’s courses too. Beautiful human being.

I haven’t ran with Colin but an asset to the club no doubt. 💚💚

Cris Saudella

Annette Smyth (together with Lottey Gates and Simon Smyth) made me fall in love with running, in whatever weather or terrain, they taught me that running is much more fun when you are in great company, and it is not how fast you go but how many of your running mates you support in getting over the finish line! They took a bunch of bright and fun yet clueless strangers and turned them into a fun and dedicated group of wonderful running friends. This was done thanks to expert advice and vast experience, warmth, kindness and huge support, ultimately knowing someone believes in you makes you bring your best to the starting line. They have changed my life and I will be forever grateful! Thank you 🙏🏻

Beverley Atkinson

Annette is fantastic as a run lead and beginners lead, very supportive and friendly x

Louise Page

Annette is great, she makes the discovery runs so much fun. With step up runs Annette is so kind and supportive.

Helen Collins

Annette was my beginners lead in 2020, she was inspiring & helped develop my love of running, considering I was only going to graduate then stop running! 😊💚

Fal Patel

Colin is amazing and I love running with him 💚💚

Annie Higson

I will always remember Annette’s 7 Parishes run as one of my favourite days out ever! 😊🏃‍♀️🌳

Sarah Mann

Annette Smyth, an absolute diamond. She was my beginners group run lead. Changed my life from then onwards. Always a smile and supportive, always love to see her on a run and help where I can on her beginners groups now 💚

Annette Smyth

You are all too kind, thank you

Elizabeth Tribe

Annette Smyth is awesome 🤩

Rachel Mckenzie-Martin

Annette is the best run lead 💚 she’s interesting, funny, kind, and dual as she does discovery runs too! 🏃‍♀️🙌 Thanks for giving up your time for us all. Xx
