Annette is a great run lead, she is very welcoming, friendly and welcoming. I first met Annette 10 years ago on the Wednesday social run. Annette also does a lot for the club.

I don’t know Colin very well, I have seen him a few times at the Sunday social run, he is very friendly

Campbell Park was my first real experience running up, round, down slopes. Anette was awesome, boundless energy, passion and enthusiasm (with a wicked laugh and sense of humour). Annette Smyth (together with Lottey Gates and Simon Smyth) made me fall in love with running, in whatever weather or terrain, they taught me that running is much more fun when you are in great company, and it is not how fast you go but how many of your running mates you support in getting over the finish line! They took a bunch of bright and fun yet clueless strangers and turned them into a fun and dedicated group of wonderful running friends. This was done thanks to expert advice and vast experience, warmth, kindness and huge support, ultimately knowing someone believes in you makes you bring your best to the starting line.
