WHAT YOU SAID

Nicky Ford

Both great run leads, i joined steves first run after covid. Was a lovely friendly group. Used to regularly do the runs as all very local.

Marine Turner

Love sunday social run with those 2, you are in for an adventure exploring Milton Keynes from top to bottom 💚 i have run so many sunday social club run with Steve as run lead (actually lost count), he is like conducting an orchestra, a true masterpiece 👌 (one of the G.O.A.T of Sunday Social Run lead 🤗).

Steve is such a lovely & caring person, he has spent so much time monitoring & helping us when we step up as Sunday social run lead 🫶

To many more Sunday social runs to come 🙌

Deirdre Rose

I love both these men … one a little more than the other!!! Oh, and great run leads too. ❤️❤️

Nikki Norman

I’ve ran with James before but not been on one he’s led. He’s a great person and good laugh.

There would be too many paragraphs if I told you how brilliant a run lead Steve is! He’s wonderful, funny, encouraging and generally just a brilliant human being. I even stalked him all the way to Weymouth and still didn’t see him in his Speedo’s 🫣😂. 💚💚

Chris Jeanes

Great run leads. I have been running with Steve for many years as he was a regular on the dearly departed explorer runs. We both have a fondness for exploring and trails and have been known to borrow bits of each-others routes. His wife also has a very good blog documenting their regular walking trips along the coastal path in the South West. James is also a great run lead very chatty and welcoming to all, has a surprising turn of speed when racing, but happy to bumble along with the rest of us the remainder of the time.

Simon Navin

Old Rosey is a diamond. Always has a story. And they are always terrible…😂

Just joking. He’s everything the club is about. A top, top man.

Luke Chambers

Ah the old man and toddler time 😂 have great banter with both of them. Been on many runs with both of them, great friends aswell as run leads. Lucky to have such people in my life 💚

Anne Bonson

James & Steve are great run leads! Love Steve’s runs that incorporate a little bit of history about MK. The last one he did it rained the whole time and everyone was soaked but it was good fun! 💚

Sarah Hill

Steve made me very welcome on my first Sunday club run when I took the leap from step up.

Annabel Cacchioli

The dream team 💚

Ruth Devaney

Since rejoining RR’s I have consistently run on the Monday morning social and the reason for this is…run lead Steve !

He’s funny, friendly, encouraging and very good at what he does!

He makes it seem effortless and is a natural leader

He looks after newcomers and is great at regulating pace/loop backs etc to be all inclusive

On quite a number of occasions I have run with both Steve and James -together they are comedy gold 😊

I have also run with James as lead and he is also great

He’s witty and very welcoming

Thank you both 🙏

Sarah Mann

James Gosling, the guy is just lovely, Mr R’s second in command always a pleasure to be led by. Xx

Tara Needham

They are both great run leads. I haven’t been to many of James’s runs but I have seen him at a few runs.

Steve is lovely run lead. He loves to take us through fields even though he knows I don’t like running through fields! Steve is very friendly and encouraging and likes to have good banter

Sarah Mann

The legend that is Mr Steve Rose well where do I begin. He always seeks to create a friendly, social environment where all runners can feel relaxed and really enjoy their running. We have such a wide range of different people on social runs and he can interact with all. He plans, co-ordinates, leads, manages and supports us and all this as a volunteer run lead. Thank you Mr R and all the run leads for what you do for us all. 💚

Annie Higson

On an off-road run Steve nobly rescued Bernie Barnes and me from a herd of stampeding cattle! No cattle (or run leads) were harmed in the process 🙂
