Sarah

Sarah leads the club Tempo Tuesday and Track sessions for the club, in the past she has also led Need for Speed courses

Carlos

Carlos leads the club Tempo Tuesday and leads the Need for Speed course, plus is an occasional lead on the club Sunday runs

My two favourites ❤️💚❤️ Am I allowed to say that?! I’m biased because I regularly run with these two! They are supportive, encouraging and caring and make me want to run on a Tuesday even though I kind of hate it! They’re amazing and the Club is a better place because of them 💚💚💚

 

Chris Jeanes

Both of these run leads are so welcoming and encouraging. Always welcomed and encouraged to come back every Tempo Tuesday I attend even when I haven’t been able to meet target pace for that group. They both make sure that someone runs towards the back of Tempo Tuesday when they have a new runner attempting to achieve that run. Carlos pops up everywhere on various Redway runs and events and is always friendly and chatty. I’ve been chasing after Sarah at races for years, she always seems to be slightly ahead of me 😂. But again so friendly whenever you see her! Both of these leads are a great example of what a run lead should be.

These have to be two of the nicest people, of course I am especially pleased to see Sarah Armitage leading runs for the club – makes me proud, she leads on Track and with lovely Carlos Montoro on Tempo Tuesday, plus used to lead on Need for Speed

I haven’t ran with Sarah but got to know Carlos whilst doing need for speed last year. He is such a friendly and encouraging person. Always being supportive and sharing his running wisdom. Thank you for being amazing 💚

 

Luke Chambers

Again two of the nicest people in the club. Both always welcoming with a smile and both good friends.

Carlos is my Co Lead on our Need For Speed course and I couldn’t think of anyone better to help me run the course. He is also a good friend outside of the running club. Someone I could turn to if I needed help or someone to talk to.

So lucky to have these two as run leads! Tempo Tuesday is one of my favourite runs. So welcoming and supportive! Thank you both 💚
